Dear Connections, As the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) successfully celebrates its 10th anniversary, it is incredible to reflect on how profoundly it has transformed India’s corporate rescue landscape. Yet, beyond the approvals and procedural milestones, a fundamental question remain: Does a successful resolution truly help a distressed asset become a thriving, self-sustaining business in the long run? While articulating my empirical research around this, I grasped extensive literature, including the August 2023 IIM Ahmedabad report. While that study did a prodigious job drawing post-resolution performance using institutional data from the IBBI, MCA, CMIE Prowess, reading it inspired me to take a creative leap. Institutional data states a prevailing story, but human experience completes it. To capture the true picture, I want to learn directly from the aggregate experiences of the professionals who actually navigate the CIRP and witness post-resolution compliance firsthand. https://lnkd.in/ga5FgssP I know how incredibly demanding your schedules are.
