WHAT HAPPENED IN 1907 SHOULD NOT REPEAT ITSELF. Her name is Mary Mallon also known as 'Typhoid Mary', she worked as a cook in New York, USA between 1900 and 1907. She enabled the health professionals to understand the concept of Asymptomatic Patients. She infected hundreds of people with some of them dying. Though laboratory investigation revealed Mary's gall bladder was heavily infected with Salmonella Typhii (causative agent for typhoid), Mary wasn't showing any symptoms. Could there be a connection between Mary Mallon and Asymptomatic COVID-19 patients? Find out more on: thelbybisola.com
