What a special Mary Perrini Service Day! The Stags headed out to 29 different sites across the community, showing up, pitching in, and living the Miege mission. We began the day together with a presentation from the SeanClark21 Foundation, a powerful reminder that mental health matters and that we are called to care for one another. They recognized junior Caroline Gibson with a $2,100 scholarship, and we’re grateful for their partnership and the impact they’re making! We were also grateful to welcome members of the Perrini family to serve, including Theresa Perrini McHugh ’05, who shared this with our students: “I hope that as you go out and do your acts of service, you may see the people that you touch, you may not, but I hope at some point you get to see the impact and know that you are touching people in ways that you may never actually realize. That is all through the act of God because He has brought us here to serve others, and I hope that sticks with you.” A day rooted in service, community, and something bigger than ourselves to honor the lasting example of Mrs. Perrini. Thank you to our community partners!
