This Easter season, we witnessed something powerful! Nine of our students have joined the Catholic Church this school year, and it’s been beautiful to witness. From the Easter Vigil to Confirmations still to come this year, these moments remind us what it means to live the Resurrection. From Stags stepping in as sponsors, including faculty and staff members Bill Creach and Anjelica Martinez, to classmates and teachers showing up to support the students entering the Church, this has been a real reflection of who we are as a community. A huge congratulations to Chase, Nancy, Rita, Addi, Tesch, Brode, Thomas, Jace, and Anthony! This also marks a meaningful first for Miege, with our first-ever Confirmation class led by Fr. Andrew Strobl. Our student journalists brought this story to life in “Faith in Action,” written by Hailey Hodge and photographed by Norah Murtha. As Nancy Baca Olivas shared in the Miegian, “Having that one-on-one experience with Father Andrew is comforting,” she said. What a year of walking together in faith!
