Alexander Wansel appointed new COO of Bischof+Klein Packaging and film specialist Bischof+Klein is setting the course for the future by strengthening its Executive Board: Effective May 1, 2026, Dr. Alexander Wansel will assume the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, he will be responsible for the global operations of the group, with a primary focus on driving the strategic development of the manufacturing and process landscape. Alexander Wansel, who holds a PhD in industrial engineering, brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the packaging industry to the role. Prior to joining Bischof+Klein he held senior leadership positions at renowned companies such as Huhtamaki Flexibles, RKW Group, and SCHOTT Pharma, where he made significant contributions to optimization and scaling complex international manufacturing networks. “In Alexander Wansel, we have gained an internationally experienced leader who will consistently elevate our operations to the next level,” says Dr Hanns Martin Kaiser, CEO of Bischof+Klein. “His deep expertise in the efficient and sustainable manufacturing of consumer, industrial and cleanroom packaging will be a key building block in strengthening our competitiveness and driving further global growth.” With this appointment, Bischof+Klein underscores its ambition to further expanding operational excellence, innovation and sustainability as core pillars of its corporate strategy.
