𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, has secured support under the AICTE IDEA Lab Scheme 2024–25 to set up an #IDEA Lab, an enabling environment where ideas are explored, tested, and transformed into working prototypes. 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 ₹𝟗𝟎 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐡, jointly funded by AICTE, the institute, and industry/alumni partners, the facility will house advanced infrastructure such as 3D printers, PCB prototyping systems, FPGA development boards, IoT kits, Arduino, Raspberry Pi 4 & 5, and modern design and simulation tools. The initiative is guided by 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫: Prof. Sudhirkumar V Barai, Director, BITS Pilani – Pilani Campus, with 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Prof.Dr. Rahul Kumar (EEE) and Prof. Dinesh Rano (EEE), who will mentor and support student-led innovation.
