𝟑 𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝟔 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 $𝟓𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani has announced 3 new scholarships worth US $500,000, supported by our alumni Prof. Krishna Saraswat (Batch of 1963), Rickey/Nielsen Professor, Stanford University; Mr. S. K. Roongta (Batch of 1966), former Chairman, SAIL; and Mr. Krishna Sridhar and Ms. Arushi Aggarwal (Batch of 2005), an alumni couple. Thanks to these 3 alumni for supporting us to reach 300+ alumni-funded scholarships. These scholarships will provide merit and merit-cum-need support to deserving students joining BITS Pilani. Prof. V Ramgopal Rao (Group Vice Chancellor, BITS Pilani) said, “These scholarships go beyond financial support they reflect a strong belief in the transformative power of education.
