According to an announcement made Monday by the US global courier service business, Raj Subramaniam, an Indian American, would be the new Chief Executive Officer of FedEx. Subramanian would take over as chairman and CEO from Frederick W Smith, who will leave down on June 1. He will now serve as the company's executive chairman. "As we look ahead, I am certain that a leader of Raj Subramaniam's quality will lead FedEx to a bright future", Smith said in a statement.
