Highlights from the 7th Alzheimer’s Disease Workshop at BioVendor We were delighted to welcome partners of the ADDIT-CE* project back to our headquarters in Brno for a day dedicated to the latest advances in Alzheimer’s disease research, diagnostics, and their translation into clinical practice. What makes these meetings truly special is not only the science, but also the strong community that has grown around the project over the years. Researchers, clinicians, industry experts, and project teams continue to build valuable collaborations that help move scientific discoveries closer to clinical application. This year’s programme highlights: 🔬 JORGE REÑE ESPINOSA (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) on the role of protein condensates in neurodegeneration 🧠 Katerina Sheardova (Fakultní nemocnice u sv. Anny v Brně (FNUSA) - St. Anne's University Hospital Brno / FNUSA-ICRC) on the glymphatic system and its role in preventing neurodegenerative diseases 🧪 Jiří Doseděl (BioVendor) presenting our GFAP CLIA assay and its role in neurodegenerative disease diagnostics 🎓 Aneta Kozeleková (CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology) sharing her research on 14-3-3 protein interactions and their implications for Alzheimer’s disease …and many other inspiring contributions and discussions. A special thank you to Pavla Hlaváčková, Anna Helánová, and Jozef Hritz for the excellent organization of the workshop and for their long-term dedication to the ADDIT-CE project.
