life – the biomedical convention | 3 February 2027 Germany does not have a science problem. It has a translation problem. Every day, groundbreaking discoveries emerge from laboratories, clinics and research institutes across the country. Yet only a fraction of them become innovations, companies, jobs or solutions that ultimately benefit patients. The Rhine-Main-Neckar region is uniquely positioned to change that. With world-leading research institutions, university medicine, biotechnology, diagnostics, MedTech, AI and a thriving startup ecosystem, our region brings together the expertise, talent and infrastructure needed to turn scientific excellence into real-world impact. The question is no longer whether healthcare innovation will accelerate. The question is who will help shape it. On 3 February 2027, many of those driving this transformation will meet at life - the biomedical convention (#life2027) at the Heidelberg Congress Center.
