We invite outstanding scientists and innovators to apply with bold proposals addressing “𝐀𝐈-𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐬.” 🔬 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 Early diabetic kidney disease remains one of the most pressing challenges in cardiometabolic disease: the biological heterogeneity across populations. This project focuses on patients in the #Barbadian population, combining deep molecular profiling with advanced AI-based modeling to enable more precise, adaptive, data-driven therapeutic strategies. 🎯 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 🔸 Performance of focused molecular profiling of Barbadian Type 2 Diabetes patients with early diabetic kidney disease and matched healthy controls. 🔸 Development of an AI-driven digital African twin model. 🔸 Identification and validation of novel molecular biomarkers. 🧬 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐌𝐞𝐝 𝐗 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐬' 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?
