Supporting the next generation of microbiota research in France 🎓 On March 19, 2026, in Paris, we had the pleasure of awarding our “Intestinal Microbiota and Human Health” National Grant during JFHOD, the leading French gastroenterology congress. In the presence of Prof. Gabriel Perlemuter (Chair of the Jury), Dr. Agnès Senéjoux (President of the SNFGE), and Xavier Roux (Chairman of the Foundation), this moment highlighted our commitment to advancing scientific research. Among 27 high-quality applications, the grant was awarded to Dr. Emilie Grimaud, pediatric gastroenterologist at Trousseau Hospital (Paris), for her project: “EDN and multi-omic signatures as non-invasive biomarkers of disease activity in pediatric eosinophilic esophagitis (OesEDN).” 🔬 Her work explores an innovative approach combining biomarkers, microbiota, and multi-omic data to better assess disease activity in children. 👉 Why does it matter? • Improving care and comfort for pediatric patients • Advancing understanding of microbiota–immune–inflammation interactions • Opening new perspectives for targeted therapies 👏 Congratulations to Dr. Emilie Grimaud for this promising project. At the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation, we are proud to support research that contributes to a better understanding of the microbiota and its role in human health. #Microbiota #Research #Gastroenterology #Pediatrics #JFHOD
