The easiest way to lose trust? Pretend to care when you don’t. We’ve all seen it. An employee is encouraged to learn “empathy” and changes their words or tone. But their heart? Still closed. And your team can tell. Real empathy isn’t about body language. It’s about giving deeply caring. You can’t fake that. If you truly want to lead with empathy, it starts inside: Look through their eyes. Listen with their ears. Feel what they feel. Then and only then, take these three actions: 1. Listen deeply. Give your full attention. Ask questions.     Hold judgment. Let people feel heard, not handled. 2. Validate their view. Invite honest stories      about real challenges.        Even if you disagree, honor the emotion. 3. Follow through. Check in. Offer support.          Change what’s broken. Show that care turns into action. Empathy isn’t soft. It’s the hardest skill to fake. Real leaders don’t practice empathy. They embody it from within. #Leadership  #Empathy  #EmotionalIntelligence
