Some stories begin with a business idea, while others are written by destiny. The journey of Gaurav Anand and Sarika Thakur is one such story. The two first met during their college days at NIFT Delhi, where they became friends while pursuing their passion for fashion and design. After graduation, life took them in different directions, and they gradually lost touch. Years later, in 2019, a simple Instagram message brought them back together. What started as a casual conversation soon turned into a shared vision of building something meaningful together. Both Gaurav and Sarika hail from Bhagalpur, Bihar, and were raised with the belief that hard work can overcome any limitation. Gaurav, the son of a farmer from Baraini, Kahalgaon, spent over six years working in China's apparel industry after graduating from NIFT Delhi, gaining valuable global manufacturing experience. Sarika built her career with leading fashion and retail companies, where she developed deep expertise in product design and consumer needs. In 2022, they founded Angloindu Fashion Pvt. Ltd. and, in the same year, got married, beginning a new chapter as both life partners and business partners. Their vision was simple—to create clothing that never forces customers to choose between comfort, quality, style, and affordability. Starting with a small manufacturing unit, they built three brands: Angloindu Fashion Pvt. Ltd. for maternity and nursing wear, Mooba for modern casual wear, and The Natkhat Tales , a kidswear brand inspired by the birth of their daughter, Araina. Every product is designed and manufactured in-house at their Noida facility, allowing them to maintain high quality while making thoughtful fashion accessible to Indian families. What started as a dream has now grown into a thriving fashion house with ₹2.5+ crore in revenue, 1 lakh+ customers served, a 20-machine manufacturing setup, and a dedicated team of 20–25 members.
