“Art breaks down the borders and boundaries of our imagination; it poses questions, and playing with and dissecting it expands and challenges our present reality.” — Cate Blanchett This recent article about Cate Blanchett's appointment as Oxford's Visiting Professor of Contemporary Theatre caught our attention. In speaking about the role, she highlighted the importance of creative dialogue and engaging with the next generation of thinkers and doers. The best learning doesn't happen from the audience. It happens on the stage through dialogue, experimentation, and shared experience. Whether in theatre, leadership, education, HR, finance, technology, or public services, people develop confidence, empathy, communication and decision-making skills by practising them. Not just by hearing about them. At Bi-Jingo, that's exactly why we believe in role-play. It creates a safe space to explore ideas, test approaches, make mistakes, and learn through experience. Because some of the most important skills we use every day aren't learned through instruction alone. They're developed through doing. ❓ What’s a skill you've mastered through experience rather than instruction? https://lnkd.in/epcbSy_e
