Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has emerged as one of the world’s largest digital health ecosystems, with over 93.95 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs created. The mission has linked more than 105 crore digital health records, registered 5.33 lakh health facilities and 9.85 lakh healthcare professionals, while enabling 2.72 lakh healthcare facilities to adopt ABDM-compliant digital systems. Nearly 24 crore Scan & Register tokens have also been generated, making outpatient registration faster and enabling secure, consent-based sharing of health records. The Government is further integrating ABDM with flagship health programmes, including Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, CGHS, ESIC and Nikshay, while leveraging artificial intelligence and interoperable digital standards to enhance healthcare delivery. By creating a seamless, secure and citizen-centric digital health infrastructure, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision is improving healthcare accessibility, strengthening public health governance and advancing Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047.
