#Revoked #IITBHU #Dream11 I never imagined I would be writing this. I thought I had done everything right.  • Software Engineering internship at Google • Day-1 SDE offer through campus placements at IIT (BHU), Varanasi • Graduation just around the corner Yet today, I find myself back on the job market because of something completely outside my control. Just recently, I was informed that my full-time offer, along with those of Diwakar . and Harshit Anand, for the Software Developer role at Dream11 will not be honored due to the closure of the business unit for which we were hired. Securing this offer on Day 1 of campus placements (1st December) at IIT (BHU) Varanasi was a significant personal and professional milestone. During the placement season, I was also fortunate to be shortlisted for interviews with several esteemed organizations, including Walmart Global Tech India, SLB, Deutsche Bank, Razorpay, C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, and People Interactive. However, having secured a Day-1 offer early in the process, I had to withdraw from those opportunities before the interviews could take place. To be honest, I never expected to find myself in this position so close to graduation. While this last minute reversal is disappointing, am actively looking for a team where I can contribute my skills in software engineering. During my internship at Google, I worked on production-scale cloud infrastructure systems, extending REST APIs, building configuration workflows for Cloud KMS Autokey, developing backend functionality, and implementing testing pipelines to support secure cloud infrastructure. The experience strengthened my understanding of large-scale backend systems, software design, reliability, and engineering at scale. If there's one thing this experience has taught me, it's that careers rarely follow a perfectly predictable path. While this setback was unexpected, it has only strengthened my determination to keep building, learning, and moving forward. A little about me: • 2026 Electronics Engineering graduate from IIT (BHU), Varanasi • Software Engineering Intern at Google • Experience building production-scale backend systems and cloud infrastructure • Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, C++, Python, SQL, and Backend Development I am actively looking for Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, and Full-Stack Engineering opportunities. If your team is hiring or if you know of any relevant openings, referrals, or leads, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. A like, comment, or share would go a long way in helping this reach the right people.
