As excitement builds around today’s match between Iraq and Norway, we were thrilled to welcome FOX Sports Reporter and Host Jenny Taft to Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. Jenny joined us on the sidelines to connect with our members and celebrate the power of soccer to bring people together. One of those members was Salih, whose love for the game began as a child living in Iraq. Through soccer, Salih has developed teamwork, confidence, and discipline—skills that extend far beyond the field. He gets the opportunity to experience the sport on an even bigger stage by attending tonight’s match. We are grateful to Jenny Taft and FOX Sports for helping bring the game closer to our youth. From soccer activities to conversations about sports broadcasting, the visit gave members a firsthand look at the many pathways and career opportunities that exist in the world of sports. Experiences like these help young people see what's possible, whether their future is on the field, behind the camera, or in the broadcast booth.
