Big impact. 💙 During the National Governors Association First Spouses Retreat, First Ladies from across the country visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore at the Baltimore Ravens Clubhouse. Together, they listened to young people, learned about local needs and talked openly about youth service and mental health. This national moment led to local impact with: ✨ 100 new paid service positions for young people across Maryland through the Maryland Department of Service and Civil Innovation Maryland Corps/Service Year Option and Boys & Girls Clubs of Maryland. These roles will help expand youth mental health services, strengthen mentorship opportunities, and prepare young people to lead in their communities.
