Last week in Chicago, we had the opportunity to speak with Okta customers about one of the most important identity challenges emerging today: securing AI agents in the enterprise. Together with Okta and our partner Nexera, we demonstrated how organizations can manage, authenticate, and govern AI agents as they begin acting on behalf of employees across applications, systems, and workflows. We showcased a solution that walked both customers and Okta engineers through advanced features of the new agent management capabilities, including cross-application authentication, CIBA, kill switch functionality, and other features currently available or coming soon to the Okta platform. One example shown here is a sidebar application running in real time alongside our travel demonstrator, providing a live view of how tokens move across agents and sub-agents. This is part of our Zeppelin scenario, the travel coordination platform for our demo company, "Area of Us Travel." We also demonstrated how customers and partners can better secure agent workflows using fine-grained access controls. Through a sample authorization model, we showed how organizations can define and centrally enforce policies that govern what agents are allowed to access and do, both on their own and on behalf of the users they represent.
