Life finds a way. Just ask the persistent spiders on my patio, who keep re-spinning their webs after I think I’ve foiled their attempts. Or Dr. Ian Malcolm himself, who tried to warn those who thought nature could be contained in the original 1993 Jurassic Park movie. As an artist and as a marketing strategist, I'm inspired by nature's relentless pursuit of existence. It’s a powerful reminder that we all face obstacles, and we’re capable of overcoming them. This artwork from my Connections series, with its textured layers pushing through a chaotic, undulating grate, reflects that journey of persistence, resilience and overcoming. We all navigate barriers, big and small, in our daily lives. I believe that approaching these challenges with curiosity, creativity, and a positive mindset is key to finding our path forward. And, for me at least, keeping a positive attitude during that process makes the final breakthrough even more rewarding.
