I don't talk about this much on LinkedIn, but here it is: My faith is the reason I'm still in tech. Not the certs. Not the study plans. Not the discipline — though all of that mattered. Faith is what kept me applying after the rejections. It's what told me my seat at the table was already prepared, even when the room didn't look like it had space for someone like me. I roll into rooms in a wheelchair. I navigate screens with magnification. And I work in federal cybersecurity, securing systems that matter. None of that happened because I hustled harder than everyone else. It happened because I believed I was called to be here — and I did the work like the door was already open. If you're grinding toward a career change and wondering if it's worth it: your season of preparation is not wasted. Keep showing up.
