At 24, Amber said yes before she’d finished reading the message. With only a week’s notice, she headed to Tanzania 🇹🇿 to work on a jetty on the Indian Ocean. 🌊 As a Technical Office Engineer on the Tanga project, she reviewed documentation, coordinated between design and execution, and kept a complex marine infrastructure on track through tides, heavy rainfall, and every curveball a live construction site throws at you. Amber: “It has been a dream from the beginning.” Surrounded by a tight-knit project team, the learning curve was steep.
