I’ve never been good at saying goodbye. Not because I lack words, but because I don’t believe in the meaning we usually attach to them - as if something were ending, as if a line were being drawn and everything before it somehow closed. I deeply believe that in a professional journey, there is no such thing as a real goodbye. I’m not disappearing. I’m not going anywhere for good. Yes, my desk changes, the title in my email signature changes - but everything else remains the same. I’m still the same person, with the same memories, the same experiences, the same values, and the same phone number So I won’t say goodbye. That’s not who I am. Instead, I want to say thank you - and highlight what truly mattered and still does. Legia has always been much more than just a football club. It was a true honor and privilege to take care of our partners and sponsors, to coordinate initiatives that increased their presence within the Club, and to help create a business ecosystem where everyone could contribute their part to the growth of something truly special. With that in mind, I want to sincerely thank everyone with whom I had the pleasure of building something new and meaningful - projects that pushed boundaries and redefined the way sponsorship and business partnerships can work in sport. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Ron Carp, Tomasz Piernik, Maciej Głaczyński, Tomasz Jarzębowski, Łukasz Dąbrowski, Tomasz Hadam, Michał Stawecki, Marta Miklińska, Daniel Pieczarowski, Filip Flis, Marzena Domaszewska Nowak, Ben Vasselon, Jon Ibáñez Lautenschlager, Łukasz Stoliński, Kuba Bakalarczyk, Szymon Łukaski, Piotr Skarzynski, Katarzyna Nowak , Anna Rey-Klugiewicz, Maria Chodzeń, Piotr Kurleto, Hubert Sypuła and so many others. Thank you for the trust, the commitment, and the incredible positive energy you brought every single day. There simply isn’t enough space to mention everyone from Legia I’d like to thank individually - so please allow me to say this collectively: THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. The “L-ka” will always remain there, and surely we’ll meet again at Łazienkowska. A very special thank you goes to the amazing Sponsorship Team - for always being there, in good times and in bad. I’m grateful to have been able to rely on you every step of the way (Piotr Tabiś, Piotr Wozowicz, Daniel Kaniewski, Jan Borowski, Paweł Prus). Today, I’m beginning a new chapter at Stats Perform - more about that soon. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Markus Klausmann for the trust and constant support, and to the fantastic team: Jiří Kadlec, Stephan Hanke, Leon van der Heijden, Daniel Dengl, Gijs Beenker, as well as all the wonderful people who welcomed me so warmly into this new environment. I'm really excited about whats to come and positively looking forward to it all! So, in the end, I’m not saying goodbye. I’m saying thank you - for being part of this journey and for continuing it with me. See you in 2026, Bernard
