https://lnkd.in/eQjsdz5b Happy to share the final preplanned Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) UK and Ireland TB-PRACTECAL sub-study co-authored with Ilaria Motta Catherine Berry Gerry Davies of University of Liverpool David A.J. Moore LSHTM Tuberculosis Centre Frank Kloprogge of UCL Centre for Global Tuberculosis Research Dr Ronelle Moodliar key takeaway: " Antimicrobial exposures for bedaquiline, pretomanid, linezolid, moxifloxacin and clofazimine were adequately estimated, were within the ranges of previously published studies but did not correlate with the speed of sputum bacterial clearance... These data indicate that the studied doses of linezolid and moxifloxacin could be the right balance between effectiveness and safety, strengthening the WHO recommendation that BPaLM is the preferred regimen for rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis in adolescents and adults." #TB #AMR #PKPD #editorspick
