What an inspiring week it has been so far for Berlin at VivaTech 2026. As the conference enters its final stretch, our Berlin delegation continues to gain momentum - with strong international interest, new connections and a renewed sense of what’s possible.   Berlin’s innovation ecosystem - spanning AI, deep tech, mobility, MedTech and fintech - once again showed why our city is one of Europe’s leading hubs for innovation. This year, we brought 20 innovative Berlin companies to Paris, supported by the Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe.   Our visits offered valuable insights into the French and European tech landscape. At STATION F we explored the world’s largest startup campus and its programs run by global tech leaders such as Google, Meta and Mistral AI. At Pigment, we discussed how AI‑driven business planning can support organizations and what it takes for startups to expand successfully in France.   Our “TECH + CONNECT” networking event - hosted by Berlin Partner with Bpifrance International and AHK Frankreich / Deutsch-Französische Industrie- und Handelskammer - provided deep insights into the French and European funding ecosystem, with a strong focus on supporting female founders. Startups had the opportunity to pitch, exchange ideas and connect with fellow entrepreneurs on a rooftop terrace overlooking Paris.   At VivaTech, our Head of Division Digital Business | Startups, Nadine Jüdes, opened the panel “AI Made in Berlin: What the German Market Is Building Right Now”, highlighting the ambition of Berlin’s AI landscape. The Deep Tech Ecosystem Fireside Chat and our evening event “Berlin Calling: Deep Tech, Drinks & DJ”, introduced by Permanent Secretary, Dr. Severin Fischer, further underlined Berlin’s international relevance.   We also strengthened visibility for female entrepreneurship through our collaboration with IHK Berlin and their Business Women Connect initiative - culminating in tonight’s PARIS meets BERLIN networking dinner for women entrepreneurs.   A warm thank you to all partners, speakers and guests who helped bring Berlin’s innovative spirit to Paris.
