Thank you, Jens Bischof – welcome, Lars Redeligx: Change at the helm of the BDL After two years at the helm of the Federal Association of the German Aviation Industry (BDL – Bundesverband der Deutschen Luftverkehrswirtschaft e. V.), Jens Bischof today handed over the office of BDL President, as scheduled, to Lars Redeligx, Chairman of the Management Board of Düsseldorf Airport. Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “As BDL President, Jens Bischof has represented our industry with great dedication and achieved a great deal. It is also to his credit that the importance of aviation to our national economy is once again receiving greater attention. After years of rising government costs and excessive regulation, policymakers are now taking the first steps towards reducing competitive disadvantages. Thank you very much, Jens, for your commitment. I would like to warmly congratulate Lars Redeligx on his election as the new President. I look forward to working closely with him, as key issues for the future, such as competitiveness and climate protection, require strong representation of our interests in Germany and Europe.” Since 2011, the BDL has been representing the interests of the German aviation industry. Its members include airlines, airports such as BER, German Air Traffic Control and other service providers. ___ Danke, Jens Bischof – willkommen, Lars Redeligx: Wechsel an der BDL-Spitze Nach zwei Jahren an der Spitze des Bundesverbands der Deutschen Luftverkehrswirtschaft hat Jens Bischof heute das Amt des BDL-Präsidenten turnusgemäß an Lars Redeligx, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung des Flughafens Düsseldorf, übergeben.
