The capital region has a new long-haul route: Air Canada is now offering direct flights from BER to Montréal in Canada. The new route will operate three times a week (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). This opens up an exciting new destination for travellers from the capital region. The Montréal hub also offers numerous connection options within Canada and beyond. The service is listed in the flight timetable from BER until 6 September. Flights for summer 2027 are already available to book. From early June to mid-October, Air Canada will even be operating the route up to four times a week. From 19 July, an Airbus A321 XLR will be deployed on this route for the first time, operating regular long-haul flights to Germany. This innovative long-haul aircraft enables airlines to operate international routes in a more sustainable and economically viable manner. Die Hauptstadtregion hat eine neue Langstreckenverbindung: Air Canada verbindet den BER ab sofort direkt mit Montréal in Kanada. Die neue Strecke wird 3x pro Woche (mittwochs, freitags, sonntags) geflogen. Reisende aus der Hauptstadtregion öffnet sich damit ein spannendes neues Reiseziel. Über das Drehkreuz Montréal ergeben sich zudem zahlreiche Anschlussmöglichkeiten innerhalb Kanadas und darüber hinaus. Die Verbindung steht bis zum 06. September im Flugplan ab BER. Flüge für den Sommer 2027 sind bereits buchbar. Dann fliegt Air Canada die Strecke von Anfang Juni bis Mitte Oktober sogar bis zu 4x pro Woche. Ab dem 19. Juli kommt auf der Verbindung dann erstmals regelmäßig ein Airbus A321 XLR auf einer Langstrecke nach Deutschland zum Einsatz. Das innovative Langstreckenflugzeug ermöglicht es Airlines, internationale Verbindungen nachhaltiger und wirtschaftlich attraktiver zu betreiben.
