ACTION NEEDED! 👉 Under the proposed implementation of H.R. 1, many graduate programs—including Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degrees—could face restrictive loan caps that fail to cover the cost of a world-class education. 🎓 For UC Berkeley Public Health students, this is a barrier to entry that threatens to deplete our pipeline of future health leaders. By relegating these vital degrees to lower borrowing limits ($20,500/year), we risk pricing out diverse, talented advocates who are needed to solve tomorrow's health equity and pandemic challenges. The UC Advocacy Network (UCAN) is fighting to pass H.R. 6718, the Professional Student Degree Act, to ensure public health degrees remain accessible. ➡️ Protect our future health leaders here: https://ow.ly/VQhS50YcBkk #HigherEdPolicy #SaveStudentLoans
