Edit: Solved (Thanks to CEO and Allegro teams) 1/07/2026 Rights vs. Unfair Corporate Practices on Allegro 🛑 As an IT professional based in Poland, I always appreciate seamless digital platform experiences. However, what I recently experienced with a seller on Allegro (AMPQ_PL) is a textbook example of unlawful consumer treatment that violates both Polish UOKiK regulations and EU consumer directives. I ordered a phone, tested it for exactly 15 minutes to verify its functionality (equivalent to testing a display model in a brick-and-mortar store like MediaMarkt or MediaExpert), reset it back to factory settings, and returned it in pristine, perfect condition. The seller first tried to unlawfully deduct 250 PLN under the pretext of "device activation." When I rightfully refused this arbitrary deduction based on consumer law, they took it a step further and issued a total refusal of the refund ("Sprzedający odmówił zwrotu pieniędzy"), keeping both the returned device and my money. While I have already initiated an official dispute and escalated this to Allegro Protect, it is highly disappointing to see such anti-consumer practices being tolerated on a major platform. Has anyone else in the Polish IT community faced similar arbitrary deduction traps recently? Allegro — I look forward to seeing your compliance and mediation teams handle this clear breach of consumer rights swiftly. #Allegro #Ecommerce #ConsumerRights #UOKiK #Poland #CustomerExperience #CustomerProtection
