You can now export any protected Entra ID objects as a JSON file directly from restore points, greater control and flexibility when responding to identity incidents or complex recovery scenarios. Instead of relying solely on in-place restores, teams can export precise, point-in-time representations of Entra ID objects for visibility, analysis or integration into external workflows, this unlocks a world of possibilities. Exports contain object properties, relationships etc capture at backup time, plus schema metadata for import into Entra ID or compatible systems. Restore points preserve the original schema without automatic conversion to current Entra ID schema versions. And of course, all export actions are secured through dedicated RBAC permissions and tracked via audit logs within Veeam Data Cloud.
