When Daniel Cox and I embarked on the Smart Tech scene in 2021 we quickly hit the post-covid boom market, call it luck or great timing, but we grafted hard and built enough reserves for our first two hires – Harry G. & Jack Matravers, and an office we could grow in to. We didn’t then care for a flashy website, hosting podcasts, a clever logo…it was all about getting customers onboard and money in the bank. We then hired the exceptional Hannah Chapman (Assoc CIPD) who underpinned our business with best practices, systems and processes which enabled us to scale with confidence. From that point we were off! We have tried to grow with ‘cautious optimism’, reinvesting whilst aware of the responsibility of employing 50 staff. Not always making the right decisions but learning along the way. I could talk about highlights and milestones but really it’s all about our staff, customers and candidates. Super proud, super grateful and super excited for the next 5 years. Thank you everyone for your support and contribution.
