🎤 "AI in healthcare will only be truly valuable if it helps us make a real shift: from a system centred around the clinician to one where the patient is genuinely at the centre." That is the message Valerie Storms, PhD shares in this video, not only as Head of Digital Health Innovation at Daiichi Sankyo Belgium, but first and foremost as a patient expert. With AI and health data, we can give people far more insight into their condition, and with that, more control over their health journey. The potential is there. But it will not happen by default. To realise it, patients need a full and meaningful role in this transition: involved early, listened to seriously and treated as an essential partner in shaping how AI is designed, implemented and governed. On 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we want to underline that role.
