We’re excited to announce Ready, Steady, School! Belong Healthcare’s school readiness group program, designed to help little learners feel confident, capable and ready to start school! Dates: 19th, 20th & 21st January 2026 Location: Belong Healthcare Offices, 407 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121 Duration: Three 2.5-hour sessions (plus pre-assessment and post-group report) Cost: $1,163.97 per child (NDIS claimable under Capacity Building Supports) EOI closes: Friday 5th December 2025 Pre-assessments: Monday 15th December 2025 Ideal for little learners who are eager to strengthen their foundational and social-emotional skills before entering the classroom. Whether your child is just beginning to explore early learning concepts or already has some familiarity, our supportive, neuro-affirming environment helps each child build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for a smooth start to school life. Each participant will receive: Pre-assessment (60 mins): To understand your child’s strengths, challenges and accommodations and set personalised goals. 3 x Group Sessions (2.5 hours each): Delivered by an experienced Occupational Therapist and Allied Health Assistant (trained by a Speech Pathologist). Post-group summary report (60 mins): Providing insights into your child’s progress and tailored recommendations to support their continued development at home and school. Free parent group session: Covering NDIS and Department of Education funding pathways for school, advocacy supports (ACD), and strategies for a positive school transition. Ready, Steady, School! Skill Focus Our sessions are fun, play-based, and evidence-informed, focusing on key school readiness areas: Emotional Regulation: Recognising and expressing feelings; learning classroom-friendly regulation strategies. Play & Friendship Skills: Joining in play, turn-taking, sharing interests Body Skills: Developing personal space awareness; postural strength for sitting and classroom participation.
