It was fantastic to close the year with winning the Environment Award at the 2025 AMEC (Association of Mining and Exploration Companies) Awards. The AMEC Environment Award reflects the importance of environmental stewardship in mineral mining and exploration projects and is awarded to a company that excels in their management of environmental impacts, or is developing innovative methods to achieve better long-term environmental outcomes. “Recognising environmental stewardship in mineral exploration and mining, this award is a major achievement for environmental leadership in Australia’s resources industry,” the AMEC team wrote in commentary highlighting the award win. “Bellevue Gold has claimed the Environment Award after reaching net zero emissions in 2025, ahead of their target of 2026, becoming Australia’s most renewably powered mining operation.
