We have officially inaugurated our new photovoltaic plant at the Melano – Fabriano production site, the European hub for built-in cooking hobs. This initiative is a core part of the Industrial and Digital Transformation Plan for Italy, designed to enhance energy efficiency and strengthen long-term industrial competitiveness. The newly launched plant features approximately 2,200 solar panels covering an area of more than 6,200 square meters. With an installed capacity of 1.4 MWp, the system is projected to generate an annual output of around 1,800 MWh. To maximize industrial efficiency, over 70% of this self-generated energy will be reused directly on-site to power manufacturing, while the remaining 30% will be fed back into the national power grid. This transition to clean energy will deliver an estimated 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions for the facility, directly supporting the group's broader target of reaching zero operational emissions by 2030. The site has a workforce of over 400, exports globally, conducts applied research for the cooking category contributing to the local economic development. #EnergyEfficiency #SolarEnergy #Sustainability #IndustrialTransformation
