📣 New Chairman and Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors 📣 We are excited to announce that Pedro Matthynssens, CEO of Vanbreda Risk & Benefits, has been appointed Chairman of Becobra’s Board of Directors. 🔹 Pedro Matthynssens looks ahead with ambition: “With deep gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility, I accept the chairmanship of Becobra. My sincere thanks go to my predecessor Steve Sartor, to the entire board, and our members for their trust. I intend to build upon the solid foundation laid and to focus on highlighting the pivotal role commercial insurance brokers play within our economy. In times of uncertainty, our brokers' expertise enables entrepreneurs and businesses to concentrate on growth, to innovate, and to contribute to prosperity.” 🔹 Outgoing chairman Steve Sartor, CEO of Concordia nv, reflects on his tenure with appreciation: “After two terms, my time as chairman has come to an end. It has been an inspiring and rewarding journey. A warm thank you to all members for the trust and collaboration. It has been an honour to represent you. I am proud to hand over the torch to Pedro Matthynssens.” 🌟 This leadership transition is further strengthened by the appointment of Leen Verheyen, Managing Partner at Hillewaere Insurance, as Vice Chairwoman of the Board. Leen succeeds Kristof De Bremme (BeLux CEO for Marsh McLennan, Marsh President for Belux - Marsh BeLux).
