It was great to see so many people in person at the Chamber of Commerce lunch yesterday. It was the first in 18 months and Paul Martin, our Interim CEO took the stage. I enjoyed hearing reference to work place and performance culture. I’m pleased Covid has accelerated data analytics and innovation. I’m pleased about the focus on ensuring we can sustain positive change …. BUT Hotels, restaurants and bars continue to struggle, despite circa 1000 people actively seeking work. Maybe Government can intervene and solve one problem with the other!?
