Another section of Serbia’s Morava Corridor Motorway is now open. 🛣️ Our Bechtel-ENKA team has completed Sections 8 and 9 — a 29 km stretch connecting Preljina–Čačak to Adrani–Kraljevo. With more than 100 km now open to traffic, only one section remains before the full 112 km corridor is complete. The Morava Corridor is more than a road. It’s a nationally significant infrastructure project delivering tangible benefits for Serbia today — from thousands of local jobs and investment in Serbian businesses to stronger flood protection for communities along the West Morava River valley. Across the full alignment, the project includes 36 km of river regulation, 13 km of river diversions, 28 km of dykes, and more than 160 large culverts — all designed to improve long-term resilience in a region challenged by flooding for generations. When complete, the Morava Corridor will be Serbia’s first digital motorway, linking central Serbia to Pan-European Corridors X and XI, supporting safer travel, stronger connectivity, and long-term economic growth. 🤝
