2025 was the most eventful year of my life. It’s time for a proud, exciting recap 🥁 So much happened this year, it feels like several chapters lived at once. And it only worked because so many of you were part of it 🫶🙌 THANK YOU. So yes... let me brag a little about what we achieved this year. ✨ The Caona app (inofficially) launched. The thing we dreamed, prototyped, tested, questioned, loved, doubted, and finally rebuilt is ready to meet the world… Counting down the days to real launch with two hands now aaaaahhh 😱 Caona Health GmbH ✨ We won Women TechEU. Selected out of 1,038 deep-tech startups across Europe and backed with 75.000 € in funding. This one felt BIG!! ✨ Our first major public funding for commercialization. The Go-to-Market Gutschein, 32.000 € co-financed by European Union and the Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Industrie, Klimaschutz und Energie des Landes NRW ✨ We developed the world’s first cycle-based AI language learning coach. 130.000 € in public funding, launched in February, backed by science, built by a brilliant team Elisa Palme, Milad Rouygari, Anna-Lena, Tobias Thelen in cooperation with Universität Osnabrück ✨ We created two brand-new workshops. ”Cycle in Balance” and “The Men's Workshop for Relationships & Everyday Life” created to finally make hormonal knowledge practical, accessible, and usable. ✨ An incredible team came together. Ending the year with the most incredible team I could imagine and one that makes me genuinely excited to build every day. Merve K. From our first Femtech booth at DMEA - Connecting Digital Health to hosting 4 events in Munich & Berlin and somehow growing a 200+ member WhatsApp community along the way. Developing an advanced AI-based system using wearables for hormonal monitoring in menopause at TUM Chair of Health Informatics (CHI) 😱 This all still feels a little unreal… and deeply humbling.
