Salvador Dalí was a great defender and admirer of Gaudí's works. In 1933 he introduced Gaudí to the Surrealists in his article "De la beauté terrifiante et comestible de l'architecture Modern Style" published by the Minotaure magazine. Throughout his life he visited many times some of Gaudí's buildings as can be seen in the picture in Casa Milà by Ricard Sans.
