What a week at Cannes Lions 2026. This year we hosted an end-to-end BBC Studios hub where partners and industry leaders met with leaders from across our Brands & Licensing, Digital Brands, Ad Sales, StoryWorks and Global Content divisions. Across panels, podcasts and partner events, one theme kept surfacing: the future of media belongs to trusted brand IP, passionate fan communities and meaningful audience engagement. From conversations with Variety, The LEGO Group, FOX Entertainment, FiveTwoNine and industry leaders from across advertising and entertainment, our teams explored how fandom is reshaping the way brands connect with audiences. The week also marked an important milestone for BBC Studios Digital Brands as we announced we've retained our position as the number one YouTube watch time leader across our global competitor set for the second consecutive year.
