As 2026 marks the UNโ€™s International Year of Women Farmers, today, we spotlight Uju Boniface, whose livelihood is transforming through access to digital tools and markets. With the support of CoAmana, she can sell her produce on time, reduce postโ€‘harvest losses, and secure a more stable income for her family. CoAmana connects farmers to larger markets, ensuring fair prices and more inclusive supply chains. Through handsโ€‘on training and tools such as Buy Now, Pay Later solutions, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and insurance education, women farmers are not only improving their farming practices but also managing sales, accepting payments, and running daily operations.ย  Ujuโ€™s story shows that with the right tools, women farmers grow not just food, but also incomes and stronger communities. ย  ๐ŸŽฅ Discover Ujuโ€™s story in the video CoAmana is one of our partners in the Kaduna Women Economic Empowerment Project, alongside AFEX, Jennifer Etuh Foundation, Healthy Entrepreneurs, and Advantage Health Africa (Aha!). Working closely with the Kaduna State Government, the project aims to increase income by 30% for 35,000 women farmers and households, establish 2,500 Community Health Entrepreneurs, and expand access to healthcare to up to 500,000 people in remote communities. #WomenFarmers #SocialInnovation #YearOfTheWomanFarmer #IYWF2026
