Today marks exactly fifteen years since Michiel Keijzer joined Base Logistics, which at the time was still located in Zwijndrecht. We are proud that Michiel has been part of our team for so many years, and of course we have made sure to put him in the spotlight in an appropriate way.   Since his start at Base Logistics in 2011, Michiel has “seen many sides of our company”. Michiel started as an Operational Logistics Employee, helping to streamline incoming transport orders as part of what he describes as “a small, close‑knit group”. In his next role, that of Logistics Specialist Transport, he continued to work on the transport side, but in 2017 he moved to the Inventory department. As an Inventory Control Agent and later as Inventory Coordinator, he ensured that customers’ inventory accuracy was always maintained at the highest possible level.   In 2023, Michiel made the most of his long-standing experience at Base Logistics by transitioning into a new role. He became a Software Tester and, in that role, he remains closely involved in the development of our applications and contributes to their continuous improvement. According to Michiel, there is “a warm family feeling” within Base Logistics, which he sees as “the best way to work together”.   Congratulations on your anniversary, Michiel Keijzer!
