Today marks a special milestone, as it is exactly 15 years since Bas Kammerman joined Base Logistics. After holding several roles at another organisation, he was approached in early 2011 to continue his career at Base Logistics. Fortunately, he said “yes”! On his very first working day, he started with a completely empty customer portfolio and a clear goal: to call as many customers as possible and build his own network step by step. He did so with great energy and determination. Around 2015, Bas briefly moved into a different position, but soon realized that his original role suited him better. He therefore decided to return to his position as Sales Executive, the role in which he feels most at home and which he continues to fulfil at Base Logistics to this day. When asked why he still enjoys coming to work every day, Bas enthusiastically explains that “the trust and the independence” he is given play an important part in that. We are proud that Bas has been part of our team for so many years and we will, of course, celebrate his anniversary in an appropriate way today.
