2003 yılında gönüllü bir sivil toplum kuruluşu olarak, Kurumsal yönetim anlayışının ülkemizde tanınması, gelişmesi ve en iyi uygulamalarıyla hayata geçirilmesi amacıyla kurulmuş olan Türkiye Kurumsal Yönetim Derneği'nin verdiği eğitim ve destekler neticesinde, bir Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşı ve iş insanı olan ben Mustafa BAŞAR, Dünya Bankası'nın Uluslararası Bağımsız Yönetim Kurulu üye adayları havuzuna & listesine dahil edildim. Türkiye'nin değerli insan kaynağına emek vererek, birçok yeteneği yönetim kurulu toplantısı simülasyonlarına dahil ederek son derece etkili ve gerçekçi deneyimler kazanmalarına vesile olan başta Başkan Sayın Tamer SAKA ve Genel Sekreter Sayın Güray KARACAR ,Proje Yöneticisi Sayın Müge Engin olmak üzere, Türkiye Kurumsal Yönetim Derneği'ne en derin şükranlarımı sunarım. Saygılarımla, Mustafa Başar Www.mustafa-basar.com Dear Türkiye Corporate Governance Association Family, As a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye and a businessperson, I, Mustafa BAŞAR, have been included in the World Bank’s pool/list of International Independent Board Member candidates, following the valuable trainings, support, and contributions provided by the Türkiye Corporate Governance Association, which was established in 2003 as a voluntary non-governmental organization to promote, develop, and implement corporate governance principles and best practices in our country. Throughout this process, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Türkiye Corporate Governance Association for its dedicated efforts in developing Türkiye’s valuable human capital, and for enabling many talented professionals to participate in board meeting simulations, thereby gaining highly effective and realistic experience. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire TKYD family, especially Chairman Mr. Tamer SAKA, Secretary General Mr. Güray KARACAR, and Project Manager Ms. Müge Engin, for their valuable contributions and support.
