H&M Global Store Concept 🚀 Reimagining a global fashion icon for a new generation Together with H&M, we at BAS ID co-created a new global store concept. H&M has long been dedicated to liberating fashion for the many, with its stores serving as vital distribution touchpoints worldwide. But to stay relevant, flexible, and profitable in today’s fast-moving retail landscape, the in-store experience needed a bold transformation. 🤝 Through a close partnership between BAS ID and H&M, we developed a holistic, modular concept designed to attract a younger, fashion-forward audience while strengthening the brand globally. The concept redefines the customer journey by combining elevated product presentation, optimized layouts, spatial design, communication, and digital integration into one coherent experience. 🌍 More than a new store concept, this is a scalable framework that drives both brand and business impact – enhancing customer relevance, boosting commercial performance, and reinforcing H&M’s role as one of the world’s most influential fashion brands. 💡 We’re proud and grateful for this close collaboration and inspired by the shared vision that made it possible. 🗣️ “Working together in the same studio as the team from H&M allowed us to push our ideas to the limits by shifting between the overall perspective and detailed explorations of material, function, form, details, and product presentations,” says Jonas Wåglund, Senior Concept Architect at BAS ID. “Different design solutions were studied and evaluated in parallel as the concept was refined in an iterative process. Working in such close collaboration with H&M was, to me, one of the key success factors.”
