Last week Trussell announced that 72% of people referred to a food bank in 2025 were there because they couldn’t cover essential living costs. Trussell plays a vital role in communities across the UK, helping people in some of their hardest moments – including those in need of financial help. We are proud of the Barclays LifeSkills partnership with Trussell as they evolve how this support is delivered – working with them to provide high-quality financial guidance which helps put money back into the pockets of people who need it, so they can get back on their feet. Our renewed partnership is already making a difference. Between October and December 2025, Trussell’s financial inclusion services identified £22 million in financial gains for people facing severe hardship. Together, we’re committed to helping more people build their financial confidence.
