7:45am. Car. Coffee. Avenue Louise. Questioning whether an early Friday morning was the right call. It was. This morning, together with ICHEC Alumni, we hosted a intimate breakfast session at Beci with 20 people, by design. That number matters. It creates the kind of room where conversations actually happen, where questions land differently, where you leave with something real. Yves Baudechon, CEO ExComm.com, ran the workshop and dropped the line I'll carry for a while: "Humility is not invisibility. You can be humble, measured, discreet in how you speak up. Invisibility is something else entirely. It means others are occupying the space in your place." That one hit home. Because I recognise the reflex, reserving your voice for the "legitimate" topics, the polished professional content, the posts that feel safe. What I'm taking away: vary the content, mix the registers, don't wait to have something perfectly professional to say. Personal resonates. Expertise alone doesn't build connection. LinkedIn is a conversation, not a curated résumé. Warm thanks to Thierry Geerts and Brigitte Chanoine for the welcome note, to Beci team for the lovely breakfast setup, and to everyone in that room for showing up early and fully.
