THE GIFT OF AFFLICTION 💜☕️Rev BB's morning message ⚘️ When entrusted to God, affliction can become a pathway to wisdom, maturity, and a deeper understanding of His heart. Many of the greatest spiritual insights emerge from valleys rather than mountaintops. OT 📖 Psalm 119:71 KJV It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I might learn thy statutes. NLT ~ My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees. MSG ~ My troubles turned out all for the best— they forced me to learn from your textbook. NT 📖Romans 8:28 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ⚘️ Point to Ponder: What lesson has God taught you through a difficult season that continues to strengthen your walk with Him today? 🙏🏾 Lord, thank You for Your presence in every season of life. Help me recognize the lessons You are teaching through both joyful and challenging experiences. Grant me wisdom to grow through every circumstance and faith to trust Your loving hand at work in my life. May every trial draw me closer to You and deepen my understanding of Your truth.
